One important step towards the realisation of our project results is the establishment of the BUILD association board, which includes around 50 participants from different stakeholder groups, such as public policy makers, academia members, Long Term Care experts, gerontologists, older people with complex care needs and older people associations.
This board allows to significantly scale up the project’s communication activities in the domain of policy making and to discuss the suggested recommendations with a broad audience of high-level experts who are directly involved in the policy setting process
The BUILD Association Board is engaged throughout the project, going from the initial stages to its final steps. In addition to the involvement in specific tasks, the Board will be involved transversally in the project to provide feedback to research, results and conclusions.

The Association Board of BUILD is a key driver of collaboration and innovation in the field of older adults with complex needs. Comprising experts from across Europe, the Board is dedicated to fostering knowledge exchange, shaping strategic direction, and ensuring the effective implementation of best practices. Additionally, the Board plays a vital role in amplifying our dissemination efforts, helping to extend the reach of the BUILD project to target audiences across the sector.
